A Faith-Based Primary Care Clinic in Omaha
Sancta Familia means “Holy Family” in Latin. The non-profit apostolate is conveniently located in Old Mill. We provide medical care to persons of all ages, from pre-natal care to geriatrics. Our physicians, medical providers, and staff are committed to treating each person with dignity, as each person is created in the image and likeness of God. We strive to care for the whole person: body, mind, and spirit.
A Brief History of the Apostolate
Dr. Lloyd A. Pierre, Jr. and his wife, Deanna, began discussions with Rev. (Father) Matthew Gutowski in April 2009 regarding beginning a non-profit multi-disciplinary medical clinic in Omaha which would uphold the moral and ethical teachings of the Roman Catholic Church without compromise. Father Gutowski is the Chaplain for the Omaha Guild of the Catholic Medical Association. This clinic would follow the Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Services as developed by the Committee on Doctrine of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) and approved as the national code by the full body of the USCCB. They began working on making this idea a reality, and were soon joined by Michael J. Dulac, M.D., a Pediatrician from Omaha. The Dulac and Pierre Families are members of the Apostolate for Family Consecration in Omaha and thus knew each other from that association.
The Apostolate opened in March of 2011 as a 501(c) (3) non-profit entity. The Apostolate has full support of Archbishop George J. Lucas
